A quiet, family park, Riverview overlooks a long sandy beach and has magnificent views over the estuary of the River Tay towards the Kingdom of Fife. It is a short walk to the shops and facilities of Monifieth. The park is neatly set out with flowering shrubs and bushes and some of the 40 numbered touring pitches enjoy estuary views. They are grassy and level, each with 16A electricity and two also with water and drainage. Bordering the park are 46 privately owned caravan holiday homes and four to rent. At the entrance to the park is a small reception office, a separate tourist information room and a leisure suite with sauna, steam baths and gym (charged).

For children, there is an indoor games room with a pool table and a play area for the under fives, and a small outdoor adventure play area for under 12s with seats alongside for supervision. A member of the Best of British group.

The spotlessly clean amenity block (key entry) has open washbasins, one in a cabin with WC, and preset showers. Baby bath. Accessible Facilities. Well equipped laundry. Leisure suite. Games room and play area. Adventure play area. WiFi throughout (charged).

Directions to Riverview Holiday Park

From Dundee follow signs for Monifieth on A930. After passing Tesco, turn right at sign for golf course and right again under narrow railway bridge (3.2 m. height limit). Park is signed on the left.
