What makes Riverside so special is its location; close to the River Hamble, Mecca for the international yachtsman. The site has 53 pitches of which 26 are level for touring caravans, all with 10A electricity hook-ups. There are also 25 tent pitches. The remaining pitches are used for caravan holiday homes on slightly rising ground, well spaced and with plenty of grass so they are not too obtrusive. A warden-run log cabin reception, with tourist information, including local bus and rail times, is at the entrance.
Hamble village, one mile away, with its cobbled streets, pubs and restaurants, is famed the world over for its association with yachting. This is an ideal base for the Southampton Boat Show, Cowes Week and its very own Hamble Week Regatta. At the marina adjacent to the site, a mere two minutes walk, is Oyster Quay with a bar and restaurant overlooking hundreds of yachts worth millions.
Facilities at Riverside Holidays
A brand new lodge contains the sanitary facilities, including family and baby changing rooms. Small laundry room alongside. All these facilities could be under pressure in high season. WiFi throughout (charged).

From M27 exit 8 follow signs for Hamble. Take the B3397 with Tesco on the left, continue 1.9 miles through traffic lights until Hound roundabout. After 50 yds. turn left into Satchell Lane (signed Mercury Marina) and site is on left in 1 mile.
