RCN De Potten is a good choice for lovers of watersports. This campsite is located on a peninsula on the Sneekermeer. The site has its own marina with boat launching facilities (charge applies). All manner of water transport is on offer here: motorboats, rowing boats, sailing boats, canoes, and more besides!

Sailing lessons are organised (from eight years old), and include special family sessions. About 160 touring pitches are large and grassy, have 10A electricity connections and limited shade. Many have fine views across the lake. There are 13 chalets (with wooden terraces), 50 villas and 30 bungalows to rent, many with great lake views.

There are several good play areas for children around the site, and no doubt the one with a pirate theme complete with a pirate ship, The Bounty, will be a favourite. Additional facilities include trampolines, minigolf, basketball and a unique round table tennis table! The restaurant here is spacious, with a varied menu, and has an attractive lake view - an enjoyable place to end the day.

Directions to RCN De Potten

On the eastern side of the Sneek ring road, take the exit to Offingawier. After 2 km. turn right onto Paviljoenwei and you will soon see the site entrance on your right.
