Powers The Pot Camping & Caravan Park is a family-run campsite nestled in the Comeragh Mountains, near Clonmel, County Tipperary, Ireland. The site has 37pitches, of which 20 are for touring and have electrical hook-up points available. It is relatively level and quite sheltered as tall trees surround it. The campsite is open to the elements a lot of the time, but when the weather subsides, there are great views of the surrounding area. The wind increases exponentially as you go down the hill so it is best to stay at the top of the site.
On-site facilities include a basic shower block with plenty of hot water and are no extra charge. There is a communal kitchen with a kettle and fridges and a gas stove so everything you would need to cook a meal here if you didn't want to venture out whilst you stayed here. There is also an old barn which has been converted into a bar where you can light a fire in the evening; this is a great place to gather around and keep warm and enjoy the knowledgeable company of the owner of the site.

The site is ideally positioned for walking in the Comeragh mountains. and is just a 10/15 minute drive into Clonmel which has all the usual shops, restaurants and supermarkets. Clonmel is a charming town with a rich history. Be sure to see the Clonmel Castle, the Franciscan Friary, and the Main Guard.

Directions to Powers the Pot Caravan and Camping Park

From East (N24) turn left at the first set of traffic lights in Clonmel, then go straight on passing the golf club after 4 kms and the campsite will be sign posted.

From West (N24) follow the Clonmel Bypass to Moangarrif Roundabout, turn right and proceed as above.
