Alan Rogers Review of Porthclais Farm Campsite
Porthclais Farm Campsite is situated next to the famous Pembrokeshire Coastal Path and its spectacular scenery. There is direct access for walkers to explore the coastline and a number of beautiful sandy beaches nearby. The historic Cathedral City/village of St Davids is just half a mile away, with a wide range of shops, banks and restaurants.
Bordered to the south by the cliff path and St Brides Bay, and on the west side Porthclais Harbour where small boats can be launched. The flat campsite has 24 acres for tents and 5 acres for touring caravans and camper vans. Most of the site is dog friendly, with the exception of one field overlooking the sea which is dog free.
The offshore islands of Skomer, Grassholm and Ramsey are renowned for their resident and migrant birds and grey seal colonies. The National Park provides local bus services between early April and the end of September, stopping at Porthclais Campsite on request.
