Phippins Farm Caravan Park is situated on a 17th Century, non-working, farm near the small village of East Huntspill on the edge of the Somerset Levels and near Burnham-on-Sea. This adults only, all year caravan site offers a quiet and peaceful base for touring Somerset and the West Country. The orchard site lies behind the farmhouse on the south bank of the River Brue and is level and well drained. The site is nestled amongst a mature orchard. You can pick the apples that have fallen and, in the recycling shed, you can collect freshly picked pears.

The village stores and public houses are within easy walking or cycling distance via the country roads or footpaths. It is situated in an ideal location for day trips to nearby popular attractions including the beach at Burnham-on-Sea, Brean Down, the seaside town of Weston-Super-Mare, Wookey Hole, and Cheddar Gorge and Caves. The site has 16 hardstanding pitches each with electric hook-up point.

Facilities

Central shower & toilet block. Showers 20p per 2 minutes. (please note these are non-profit making, pay only for the cost of electricity). Chemical toilet disposal. Dog-friendly with dog walking field on site. On-site river fishing in season. Public bus stop outside site entrance. Seasonal pitches available.

Location

Leave M5 motorway at Junction 22. The simplest route is to take the A38 South exit for 2.6 miles through Highbridge to West Huntspill. Turn left by the school into New Road. Proceed for 1.5 miles, over motorway bridge and past ‘Secret World’. The entrance to the site is down a concrete road on your left sign posted ‘Phippins Farm Caravan Park’.
