Situated on Canidelo’s Atlantic coast, opposite Salgueiros beach, Orbitur park offers convenient access to Porto while providing a practical seaside stopover. The site is well-suited for families and city‑visiting travellers alike. On site you will find 150 touring pitches which are mostly flat and have 6-Amp electric hook up points available. Pitches are compact and privacy is limited. Facilities on site include a seasonal outdoor pool that is famous for its view overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. There is an on-site restaurant and snack bar (operational from June to September) that serves reliable local fare. A small supermarket provides the essentials, including fresh bread daily. For the more active, there are tennis courts, a multi-sports pitch, and a table tennis area. Children are well-catered for with a small playground and an entertainment programme during the peak summer months.

Don't miss a stroll along the Marginal de Gaia, a 15km promenade and cycle path that runs right past the site entrance. It’s perfect for a sunset walk or a cycle toward the Douro estuary. Wine enthusiasts shouldn't miss a visit to the Port Wine Cellars, overlooking the Douro River cruise docks, lined with restaurants and terraces offering a variety of culinary options. A short trip across the Dom Luís I Bridge takes you into the Ribeira district. The city's narrow winding streets and UNESCO-listed architecture are easily accessible via public transport from near the site gate.

Directions to Orbitur Canidelo

From the South take the A1 to R.Q.ta do Fojo and exit towards Candidelo/ Devesas. Continue over several roundabouts to Av da Beira-Mar.  Follow the road for 800m and the campsite will be on the left.
