Noah’s Ark Caravan Park is situated on the outskirts of Perth and enjoys panoramic views over the surrounding Grampian mountains. This is a good base for a golfing break, with no less than five excellent courses within a short distance, including Saint Andrews and Gleneagles. There are 46 touring pitches here. These are grassy and of a good size. All have electrical connections. A further eight tent pitches are available (some with electricity). The site also has a number of Microlodge Hobbit Houses. These are unique wooden chalets, fully equipped to a high standard (even including a TV). Adjacent to the site is a play barn for children, which also houses a restaurant, karting, bowling and a golf driving range.
Perth is a unique small city situated on the banks of the River Tay, in the heartland of Scotland. Surrounded by the beautiful scenery of Perthshire, Perth is an excellent centre from which to explore the area. It is one of Scotland’s oldest burghs, and a great deal of Scottish history can be traced here. Other places of interest locally include Loch Tay and Glen Lyon, Auchterarder, Gleneagles and the Ochils, Blairgowrie, Pitlochry and Highland Perthshire.
