Set on a hilltop on the edge of Sarlat, this site has panoramic views across the Périgord. There are 90 pitches, of which 70 are for touring units, with the remaining 20 for chalets and mobile homes to rent. The site is terraced and the pitches are generally level. All are shady, marked and separated by trees, and have 10/16A electricity. For those with larger units, it is essential to phone in advance for pitch availability, as not all are suitable. A warm and friendly welcome is given by the French owners, whose keen gardening skills are in evidence throughout. This is a well appointed site offering good value for money.

An old, fully restored farmhouse fitted out as a bar and a wine cave offers you tasting, together with a bistro. A well stocked shop is next to the games room which doubles up for evening entertainment. This includes Perigordine dancing and shows. The swimming pool and children’s pool have only recently been added and a large playground has a cable slide. In 2015, the owner has added aquatic toys to the children’s pool. For those wishing to relax in the newly created spa, there is a jacuzzi open all season for a nominal fee. There are many places to visit in the surrounding area. Sarlat is 2 km. away.

One modern sanitary block divided into two provides all facilities including accessible facilities. Washing machine and dryer. Motorhome services. Shop and bar (15/6-15/9). Snack bar and takeaway (July/Aug). Wine tastings. Swimming pool and toddler’s pool (19/4-15/9). Indoor spa pool with jacuzzi. Play area with cable slide. Minigolf. Bicycle hire. Gas and electric barbecues only. Evening entertainment.

From Sarlat, take D47 to Proissans. Continue on D56 to Proissans and site is 500 m. on the left. In Sarlat, follow the signs for hospital as it is nearby.
