Alan Rogers Review of Nausicaa Camping
This tiny campsite is tucked on a ledge on the cliff face overlooking a golden, crescent-shaped, sandy beach. The 80 pitches are small to average in size with glorious views and easy beach access. They are on level grass and sand and most are shaded. The site has a bar and terrace with a small market in high season selling essentials. There are fascinating night markets a short walk along the shore near the wonderful fish restaurants and pizzerias. This is a starting point to explore Segesta, Selinute, Agrigento, Masala and the enchanting mountain top village of Erice.
The site is 2 km. from the Castellammare del Golfo train station.
Facilities at Nausicaa Camping
A single sanitary block is located in the centre of the site. It has mainly squat style toilets and free, controllable hot showers. Bar with terrace. Small shop.
Directions to Nausicaa Camping
From A29 Castellammare del Golfo exit follow directions to town. The S187 that runs parallel to but further north than the motorway diverges into the east side of town but may be poorly signed. Site is off this road but is well signed from town. Sharp narrow entrance unsuitable for large units. If turning left into site, continue past and turn around.
