Alan Rogers Review of Natuurcamping Eelerberg
This charming, car-free site is located on the border of Twente and Salland, close to the National Park of Sallandse Heuvelrug. It extends over 5.5 acres and offers 81 grassy pitches (56 for touring) arranged around a large open field and mostly under the shade of tall trees. The standard pitches are 80 sq.m. in size and all have 6A electricity. Serviced pitches are 150 sq.m. and have 6A electricity and drainage. This site has a friendly, relaxed atmosphere and amenities include several play areas, a swimming pool and a small grocery shop. Activities are organised for children in high season. Summer houses and chalets are available to rent.
The Twente walking network connects hundreds of miles of walking paths with many interlinking, numbered routes. Many routes include the heathland of Sallandse Heuvelrug, the Lemelerberg and the Wierdense Veld.

Heated toilet blocks include a family room and a washing machine and dryer. Restaurant at the farmhouse with terrace. Swimming pool. Shop for basics. Play areas and various playing fields. Bicycle hire. WiFi (free).
Directions to Natuurcamping Eelerberg
From Zwolle follow the N340 to Ommen towards Lemele. The site is well signed from the N340.
