This is a most impressive site for up to 6,000 naturist campers, which has a pleasant, open feel. The passage through reception is efficient and this feeling is maintained around the well organised site. Valalta is a family orientated campsite and a friendly, family atmosphere is to be found here. All touring pitches are the same price and have 10/16A electricity, although they vary in size and surroundings. The variations include shade, views, sand, grass, sea frontage, level ground, slopes and terracing. It is not possible to reserve a particular pitch and campers do move pitches at will. The impressive pool is in lagoon-style with water features and cascades.

Unusually for Croatia, the beach has soft sand (with some help from imported sand). All manner of sports are available and a marina forms part of the site. The high standard here and throughout the campsite has ensured that customers have returned regularly since its opening in 1968. We were impressed by this well ordered and smart naturist site.

Directions to Naturist FKK Camping Valalta

Site is on coast 7 km. north of Rovinj. If approaching from north turn inland (follow signs to Rovinj) to drive around the Limski Kanal. Then follow signs towards Valalta 2 km. east of Rovinj. Site is at end of road and is well signed.
