Alan Rogers Review
Mill Park is a small family-run sheltered touring caravan and camping site set in an attractive wooded valley on the North Devon Coast. It has a shop, a takeaway, a games room, laundry, and many other useful facilities such as gas-changing and ice pack freezing. Several glamping options are available on-site, including three bell tents and three glamping pods.
There is also an on-site pub serving a modest menu. Mill Park is surrounded by attractive woodland and is an ideal family site as it's just a short walk to quiet sand and pebble beaches. Bring your Fishing tackle to Mill Park and enjoy the Lake. A stream fed 1.5-acre coarse fishing lake stocked with carp.
Equally close by is the unspoilt and breathtaking beauty of Exmoor and the nearest village, Berrynarbor, just a five-minute walk from the site. This village dates back to the sixteenth century and earlier. There is a quaint old country pub, village stores and a post office.
Buses also pass by the site regularly. They cater very well for families and couples, and they do all possible to create a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.
Two Separate shower blocks - recently refurbished and kept impeccably clean, onsite bar, well-stocked shop, fishing lake, a small river flowing through the park, children's play area, games room, book swap, games library, free Internet in bar and games room. Close to beaches, secluded and quiet, and very peaceful.
Leave the M5 at Junction 27 onto the A361, stay on the A361 through Barnstaple and into Ilfracombe, where the A361 turns into the A399. Follow the A399 towards Coombe Martin. About 2 miiles outside Ilfracombe there will be the Sawmills public house on the left, the next right after the Sawmills is Mill Lane, signposted Berrynarbor. Turn left into Mill Lane and the entrance into Mill Park campsite is 400 Meters on the left hand side.Link to campsite location map on google
