This peaceful hideaway with its own fishing lake is tucked behind the houses and gardens that border the village main street. It is a traditional, mature little park with just 58 pitches. There are several caravan holiday homes and long stay units, but there should always be around 22 places with 10A electricity for touring units. The pitches are mostly individual ones separated by mature hedges and trees giving varying amounts of shade. Fishing in the attractive lake is free of charge and solely for the use of campers (bream, tench, roach, perch and carp).

There are many local way-marked walks around Wortwell and nearby Harleston. Many interesting villages are close by with their weekly markets. A member of the Countryside Discovery group.

Facilities at Little Lakeland Caravan Park

A modern, heated toilet block provides washbasins all in cubicles for ladies, and one for men. Fully equipped laundry. Separate en-suite accessible bathroom. A further unit (also heated) by reception provides a shower, WC and basin per sex. Reception stocks gas, and essentials (newspapers to order). Small play area. Library of paperback books in the summer house. Fishing (max. 4 rods per unit). WiFi (charged).

From Diss, leave A143 at roundabout signed Wortwell. Continue to village, pass The Bell pub, a garage on right, then turn right at first bungalow (Little Lakeland Lodge) watching carefully for signs. Site is down lane, 250 yds. on right.
