Camping le Soleil de la Méditerranée in Saint Cyprien, just 1km from a long sandy beach, is an ideal base for exploring the Pyrénées-Orientales area of sun, beach and blue waters. The site has 50 touring pitches available which are grassy, measure between 60 and 100 sq.m., have access to electricity and some have shade and flowering borders. There is also accommodation to rent on site. A large outdoor and indoor swimming pool complex with water slides and a Hammam is a great way to entertain the kids and satisfy the parents who want to relax. There is a bar with a restaurant serving excellent food either inside or outside on a large terrace and entertainment is provided a few nights a week and during the day in high season. Sports activities include tournaments in high season and cover beach volleyball, beach football, waterpolo and petanque and you'll find bicycle hire and classes in aqua-aerobics and Zumba on site too.

You are only 30km from Spain at le Soleil de la Méditerranée where you can visit the Dali Museum at Figueres or a little further on, the vibrant city of Girona. Just a short drive or cycle from the site you'll find more sandy beaches, harbours and marinas to visit plus shops, restaurants and museums. There are many possible day trips into France as well, such as Perpignan, Narbonne, Collioure, Castelnou and Villefranche de Conflent.
