This is a well organised site and one of the largest in Croatia with high standards and an amazing selection of activities, and is part of the Camping Adriatic by Valamar group. Set in 80 hectares with over 3 km. of beach, there are 3,000 pitches, of which 1,911 are for touring units. All have 16A electricity and fresh water, and 255 also have waste water drainage. Pitches are 60-120 sq.m. with some superb locations right on the sea, although these tend to be taken first so it is advisable to book ahead. There are wonderful coastal views from the new glamping area with seven luxury tents and private infinity pool. A member of Leading Campings group.

Facilities at Lanterna are impressive with the whole operation running smoothly for the campers. There is a wide choice of pitches, the land is sloping in parts and terraced in others. The outdoor swimming pool complexes include a large pool for children, in addition to the pretty bay with its rocky beaches and buoyed safety areas. Some of the marked and numbered pitches are shaded and arranged to take advantage of the topography. Many activities and quality entertainment for all are available both on and off site – you are spoilt for choice here, including a vast choice of places to eat. Prices tend to be higher than other sites in the area but you get value for money with the supporting facilities.

The sixteen sanitary blocks are clean and good quality. Facilities for children and baby care areas, some squat style WCs, hot showers, with some blocks providing accessible facilities. Laundry service. Three supermarkets sell most everyday requirements. Fresh fish shop. Four restaurants, bars, snack bars and fast food outlets. Swimming pool and paddling pools. Sandpit and play areas, with entertainment for all in high season. Tennis. Bicycle hire. Watersports. Boat hire. Minigolf. Riding. Internet café. Jetty and ramp for boats. WiFi (free). Impressive new glamping area. Dogs are accepted in certain areas.

Directions to Lanterna Premium Camping Resort

The turn to Lanterna Premium Camping Resort is well signed off the Novigrad to Porec road 8 km south of Novigrad. Continue for 2 km along the turn off road towards the coast and the campsite is on the right hand side.
