Formerly known as Tranquil Pines, Koppany Pines Camping is in a quiet, rural part of Western Hungary, some 150 km. south-west of Budapest and 50 km. south of Lake Balaton. It is well and truly off the beaten track, in an orchard setting with 20 pitches for motorhomes and tents with 13A electricity hook-ups available. A warm welcome is guaranteed whilst you enjoy the site facilities including a pool (seasonal), bar and communal seating area, outdoor kitchen and cooking area, mini observatory and heaps of advice to help visitors make the most of their stay in the area. There are plenty of opportunities for cycling in the area, while thermal spas, fishing, riding, birdwatching and wine tasting are all possible within 20 km. There is also a wide choice of full and half-day excursions. Motorhomes are accepted to a maximum of 8 metres and car/caravan combinations up to 13 metres.

Location

Travelling south on road 61, at filling station approaching Nagykónyi look for sign for Koppånyszàntö. In 300 m turn right, passing church. Continue for approx. 8 km. to Koppånyszàntö. Just after war memorial on right, take left turn onto Fö St and continue to end.
