Alan Rogers Review
Knaus Campingpark Eckwarderhörne is directly on the Wadden Sea National Park. This is an excellent area to enjoy the North Sea beaches and watch the tides change. It has 180 pitches, of which just 30 are for tourers, on flat and open grassy fields right behind the dyke. There are two pitches for very large units and 16 hardstandings. All are fully serviced with water, waste water and 16A electricity. Being small, it is much quieter than many of the sites along this stretch of coast. Over 250 km. of cycle routes have been laid out in the vicinity, and of course one can try the famous Wad Walking (bring your oldest clothes) to get as close as possible to the wildlife. On the Butjadingen peninsula, time seems to slow down, making this a great spot for a relaxing holiday surrounded by nature.
