Jasmine is a very attractive, quiet and well manicured park with owners who go to much trouble to produce many plants to decorate a very colourful entrance. Set in the Vale of Pickering, the park is level, well drained and protected by a coniferous hedge. Of the 126 pitches 71 are for touring units, with 10/16A electricity connections. Fifty-one are super pitches and there are 70 separate pitches for tents. A field is provided for games. Tourist information is provided in a log cabin and the owners are only too happy to advise. This is an excellent, peaceful park for a restful holiday.

The market town of Pickering and the seaside town of Scarborough are both 8 miles. Many local attractions are within easy reach, including Castle Howard, Dalby Forest, Sledmere House, Nunington Hall, Goathland (the setting for ITV’s Heartbeat) and the North York Moors Railway. Some privately owned log cabins and seasonal tourers are also on the site.

Facilities at Jasmine Park

The heated toilet block is of a high standard and is kept very clean. It includes a large accessible sanitary room for families and visitors, containing a bath, shower, WC and washbasin (access by code). Laundry room with dishwashing sinks, washing machine, dryer and iron. Motorhome services. Licensed shop selling essentials and gas. New play area. Dogs are welcome but there is no dog walk. Caravan storage. WiFi (charged).

Directions to Jasmine Park

Snainton is on the A170 Pickering-Scarborough road and park is signed at eastern end of the village. Turn down Barker’s Lane and at the small crossroads turn left and the park is 230 yds. on the left.
