You are sure of a very warm welcome at this spacious, family-owned site. There are 226 touring pitches on the various levels, 220 with electricity (10A). Some are on the level land close to the river and others are scattered on high terraces, having privacy and fine views across the Cévennes countryside. The river is very popular for swimming and in a separate section, one can enjoy the rough and tumble of small rapids. There are few on-site activities. However, the family is happy to advise visitors who wish to explore off-site, perhaps negotiating a discount on their behalf.

There is a special area, away from the main site, where teenagers can safely let off steam. This is easily accomplished in the 30 hectares of this natural and unusual site. The site lighting is turned off at 22.30, to encourage early nights. Young children can enjoy one of the best play areas we have seen. Cleanliness of the whole site, including the toilet blocks, is paramount (there are ten blocks so that no-one has to walk too far up and down hill).

Excellent, modern, clean toilet blocks. Good accessible facilities. Family shower room. Well stocked shop (1/4-1/10). Restaurant. Takeaway. Bar (Seasonal). Play area. Tennis. Minigolf. Volleyball. River swimming and fishing. Many off-site activities are arranged. Free WiFi near reception. Communal barbecue areas dotted around site. Bicycle hire.

Directions to Inspire Villages Anduze

Only viable access. From D907 Anduze, take D284 alongside the river. Site signed on right 3 km. from town. Take care on the approach – narrow lane for 100 m, then a narrow bridge, visibility is good.
