I Pini Camping
Italy, Lazio, Roma
Alan Rogers Review
I Pini was built a few years ago by a family of experienced campers and is now part of the Elite Club Vacance group. The 117 pitches, with 6-10A electricity, are set on shaded, grassy terraces, some with views of the nearby hills. The beautifully designed restaurant, with a very large terrace, is typical of the thought that has gone into making I Pini a place where you can relax. The pool complex is buzzing with the sound of happy children making use of the novel slides. This tranquil site is 45 minutes from Rome to which buses are available on a daily basis and the site offers plenty of excursions.
Careful thought has also gone into the location of the busy mobile home and bungalow village most of which is separate from the camping. This part of the site includes a well stocked shop and a reasonable supermarket. This very friendly and well ordered site is particularly suitable for families with children of all ages for whom plenty of excellent entertainment is provided during the high season. The staff at reception are most helpful at providing comprehensive information for tours to nearby attractions.
The single excellent sanitary block is spotless throughout and hot water is free. Two well equipped units for disabled visitors and separate child’s shower. Washing machines and dryers. Motorhome services. Bar. Restaurant with large terrace. Snack bar and pizza oven. Pleasant market. Bazaar. Lagoon style swimming pools (with lifeguard). Pool bar. Tennis. Play area. Entertainment (1/6-30/8). Buffet or traditional dinner and pool party (both weekly). Free WiFi. Torches required in some areas. Excursions organised.
From Rome ring road (GRA) take A1 exit to Fiano Romano. As you enter the town turn right along via Belvedere opposite an IP petrol station and follow camping signs (there is only the one site).Link to campsite location map on google
