Huttopia Senonches is a ten-hectare site hidden away in the huge Forêt Dominiale de Senonches; In keeping with other Huttopia sites, it combines a high standard of comfort with a real sense of backwoods camping.

There are 77 touring pitches here, some with 10A electric hook up points available. The large pitches range from 100 sq.m. to no less than 300 sq.m. There are also 36 Canadian-style log cabins and tents available to rent. A good range of on-site amenities includes a shop and a bar/restaurant. The chlorine-free natural pool, with a terrace, overlooks an unfenced lake and is open from early July until September.

The forest can be explored on foot or by bicycle (hire available on site), and beyond the forest the great city of Chartres is easily visited; with its stunning Gothic cathedral it is widely considered to be the finest in France. Senonches town is just one kilometre away.

The modern sanitary blocks are heated in the low season and have accessible facilities. Shop (all season). Bread to order. Breakfast service. Bar, snack bar and takeaway (weekends in low season). Swimming pool (June-Sept). Living area with library, TV, games and coffee machine. Fishing. Play area. Bicycle hire. Entertainment and activity programme. Kids’ club (July/Aug, 5-12 yrs). Wood and canvas tents, Cahuttes and chalets to rent. Gas barbecues only. Max. 1 dog.

Directions to Village Huttopia Senonches

Approaching from Chartres, use the ring road (N154) and then take the D24 in a northwesterly direction. Drive through Digny and continue to Senonches, from where the site is well signed.
