A very large site, Duinrell’s name means ‘well in the dunes’ and the water theme is continued in the adjoining amusement park and in the extensive indoor pool complex. The campsite itself is very large with 750 touring places on several flat, grassy areas (60-140 sq.m) and it can become very busy in high season. As part of a continuing improvement programme, the marked pitches have electricity, water and drainage connections and some have cable TV. Amenities shared with the park include restaurants, takeaways, pancake house, supermarket and theatre. Entry to the popular pleasure park is free for campers – indeed the camping areas surround and open out from the park.

The Tiki tropical pool complex has many attractions which include 21 slides ranging from quite exciting to terrifying (depending on your age!), whirlpools, and many other features. There are also outdoor pools and the centre has its own bar and café. Entry to the Tiki complex is at a reduced rate for campers. Duinrell is open all year. There are now 400 smartly furnished bungalows to rent.

Six heated toilet blocks serve the touring areas. One block has accessible facilities. Laundry facilities. Amusement park and Tiki tropical pool complex. Restaurant, cafés, pizzeria and takeaways (weekends only in winter). Supermarket. Entertainment and theatre with shows in high season. Rope Challenge trail and training circuit. Bicycle hire. Mini-bowling. All activities have extra charges. WiFi over site (charged).

Site is signed from N44/A44 (Den Haag-Amsterdam), but from the south the turning is 5 km. after passing sign for start of Wassenaar town – then follow site signs.
