This is an attractive, well run park with many holiday homes (400), but it also has a very sizeable tourist section and can take 260 touring units. However, tents, trailer tents and pup tents are not accepted. Spread over three flat meadows the numbered touring pitches are large, divided by hedging or low fencing, and include 32 super pitches. These are of mixed grass and hardstanding with 10A electricity. Set in pleasant park-like surroundings not far from beaches, Bournemouth and the New Forest, the park has a good clubhouse with excellent facilities. This overlooks an 18 m. circular outdoor swimming pool and an 18 m. paddling pool.

It is a sensible size and great fun with its geysers, clown and beach effect. An impressive indoor pool complex houses a water flume, sauna, solarium, spa bath and steam room, all well supervised by lifeguards. The club facilities are comprehensive, with a ballroom, large lounges and bars, and a wide range of entertainment from cabaret, talent shows, bingo, quizzes and competitions to discos (Spring B.H. to mid Sept). Children’s entertainment covers sports and games for the teens and Sammy the Seahorse club for under 12s. The Hungry Woodcutter provides simple hot food and takeaway all day. A popular park with lots going on, Bashley is part of the Hoburne group.

Three well constructed toilet blocks, one central to each area, are fully tiled with modern fittings and washbasins in cabins. Showers are preset (no dividers, but shower heads are set fairly low). Baby facilities. Launderette. Clubhouse with bars, restaurant and takeaway (1/3-30/10). 10-pin bowling. TV room. Video arcade and games room. Club for children. Shop (1/3-30/10). New indoor pool (2014). Outdoor pools (June-mid-Sept). Crazy golf. Golf course (9-hole, par 3). Tennis. Adventure play area. Soft ball play area. Only one dog or pet permitted per unit. American motorhomes accepted.
