Quiet and secluded, this park is situated on a working farm with wonderful views of the rolling Devonshire countryside, yet it is only four miles from Paignton. In order to book in, you pass a number of caravan holiday homes and the orchard to find the reception and a small shop in the farmhouse. The touring field is located above the area containing the 18 holiday caravans. There are 80 grass pitches plus a few with hardstanding for touring units. Electricity (16A) is available to 54. The field is sloping but one area has been terraced and this backs onto hedging. The remainder is more open with some pitches levelled.

The picturesque village of Stoke Gabriel overlooking the River Dart is less than a mile away, within walking distance, and has everything the visitor may need including pubs, shops and a Post Office. There is a useful bus service at the top of the road for Stoke Gabriel, Paignton and Goodrington.

Facilities at Higher Well Farm Holiday Park

The main toilet block in the touring field is of a high standard. Fully equipped it includes washbasins in cabins, 3 separate en-suite family rooms with showers. En-suite accessible facilities including baby changing facilities. Fully equipped laundry room near the holiday caravan field. Extra toilets near reception. Shop (open morning and evening in low season, all day in high season).
