Heimbacher Campingplatz is located in Heimbach. An idyllic little town nestled along the Rur Valley in the Eifel hills. Campers come and stay here for a quiet relaxing holiday. On-site, you will find a little restaurant serving traditional local cuisine, a games room, a football pitch and a children's playground for the younger campers. As the campsite runs along the river, you can kayak and fish direct from the site.

The main attractions are the Eifel National Park, the Art Nouveau power station, the Rur dam, the monastery of Mariawald and the Hengebach castle. The Hausen and Blens villages in northern Heimbach provide great views of rocky outcrops, which are now part of a nature conservancy area. One of the many campgrounds around Heimbach lies in the shadow of these rocks.
