This privately owned site on the west coast is situated on a peninsula overlooking the magnificent coastline of Bohuslän. Open all year, it is a lovely, peaceful, terraced site with a beautiful, shallow and child-friendly sandy beach and many nature trails in the vicinity. There are 220 touring pitches, all with electricity (10A), 115 of them with water and drainage. In all, there are 370 pitches including a tent area and 60 cabins of a high standard. There are plenty of activities available ranging from horse riding at the stables on the campsite’s own farm to an 86 m. long water chute.

Organised live music evenings with visiting performers are arranged during the summer. Almost any activity can be arranged on the site or elsewhere by the friendly owners if they are given advance notice. Amenities include two clean and well maintained service buildings, a pub, a fully licensed restaurant with wine from their own French vineyard, a well stocked shop and a takeaway. Reception is open and welcoming with natural light used to great effect, and where the new fitness and wellness facilities can be found. Modern gym and sauna equipment are installed to a high standard. The active area of the site is well away from the main campsite allowing other guests to experience a quiet, relaxed holiday.

Directions to Hafsten Resort

From E6, north of Uddevalla, at Torpmotet exit take 161 road towards Lysekil. At Rotviksbro roundabout take 160 road towards Orust. Exit to site is located 2 km. further on left where four flags fly. Follow signs for 4 km. along one-way road for motorhomes and caravans.
