Gyles Quay Caravan and Camping Park is a charming little spot nestled beneath the Cooley Mountains and overlooking Dundalk Bay in County Louth, Ireland. It's situated on the Cooley Peninsula , one of the most attractive and unspoilt areas of the North East of Ireland. There are 139 pitches of which 20 are hardstanding with electric hook-up points available, all with views of the bay.
The campsite has Direct access to a lovely beach, perfect for swimming, sunbathing, and building sandcastles. There is also a Children's playground to keep the little ones entertained, with swings, slides, and a climbing frame. For those looking to stay active and have fun with friends and family, there is a Tennis court and a five-a-side football pitch. You can grab all the necessities needed at the on-site shop if you wish to cook at your pitch, and there is a campers kitchen with washing-up facilities where you can easily prepare your meals. Fergusons Bar and Bistro is located on-site and has a large beer garden that serves delicious food and refreshing drinks with live music every weekend.
The charming medieval town of Carlingford is just a 10-minute drive away, offering historical sites, quaint shops, and lively pubs. Discover the scenic Cooley Mountains with a variety of trails to suit all levels. Tee off at the nearby Greenore Golf Club, boasting stunning sea views. Venture further afield to Belfast, Dublin, or the Giant's Causeway, all within easy reach.
