Gudhjem Camping is located on the island of Bornholm Gudhje, which is very popular with outdoor enthusiasts. Getting around the island is easy, thanks to the island's excellent network of cycling paths and boat connections. The site has 172 pitches of which 150 are for touring units and have a 16-amp hook-up points. The site is on a beautifully maintained and open piece of land that slopes down to the sea, gives you a beautiful view of the Baltic Sea from most of the pitches. It is helpful to bring wheel chocks so that you can place your caravan, tent or motorhome in a stable position. The friendly and enthusiastic manager ensures a warm welcome for all guests who stay here. 

The campsite attracts a diverse crowd, including hikers, water sports enthusiasts, and cyclists. During the off-season, groups of kayakers often base themselves here. The atmosphere is generally peaceful, with a mix of Danish and German seniors alongside younger nature lovers. The campsite offers a lagoon with a stone beach for swimming. If you prefer a sandy beach, there's another option just 300 meters away, accessible through the charming town of Melsted. The sanitary facilities are clean and functional, though not the most modern.

The charming town of Gudhjem is just an 800-meter walk (approximately 10 minutes) from the campsite. Follow the idyllic and scenic rescue path that leads directly into the harbour. Once in town, Gudhjem boasts a variety of restaurants, cafes, and shops. Try some local delights at "Hos Mette," savour the famous "Gudhjem Special" ice cream, or treat yourself to something sweet at the Pancake House. For a unique taste of Bornholm, visit the Gudhjem smokehouse. History buffs will appreciate visiting Bornholm's medieval centre, while Melstedgård agricultural museum offers a glimpse into the island's past. For some active fun, try Borngolf, a local mini-golf course. From Gudhjem harbour, you can take boat trips to the nearby islands of Christiansø and Helligdomsklipperne, offering another adventure to your Bornholm experience.
