Grønninghoved Camping is attractively laid out in a former orchard, close to the Bredningen Sea. On slightly sloping ground with some terracing, the level, grass pitches are numbered and separated by low fruit trees and hedges. Of the 323 pitches, 205 are for tourers including 45 fully serviced pitches with water, electricity and waste water. Eight have concrete hardstanding for motorhomes. There are many opportunities for walking, cycling and watersports for active campers, while others can relax at the beach or by the pool, which also has a solarium and a sauna.

Toilet facilities are good with an excellent section for children with sports car bath and colourful showers. Legoland, the Lion Park and Odense are less than an hour’s drive.

Four excellent blocks include British style toilets, cabins with toilet/basin and/or shower and controllable hot showers (card operated). Child size toilet, basin, shower. Baby room. Laundry. Campers’ kitchen. Motorhome services. Shop (24/3-11/9). Outdoor pool (heated 15/5-31/8, 8x15 m) with large slide and paddling pool. Sauna and solarium. Playground. Minigolf. Fishing. Watersports. TV room with arcade machines. WiFi over site (charged). English is spoken.

Directions to Grønninghoved Strand Camping

Driving north on E45 take exit 66 to Christiansfeld. Continue on 170 road north towards Kolding. Exit at Taps towards Åstorp and Sjølund. In Sjølund turn east towards Grønninghoved and Grønninghoved Strand.
