Alan Rogers Review
Gowerton Caravan and Motorhome Club site is ideally placed to visit this 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty'. With beaches that are clean, sandy and safe for swimming and surfing, to stunning costal and country walks the Gower is a must for all walkers and water sports enthusiast. Family friendly Oxwich, Caswell Bays, and the fabulous Rhossili, (voted one of the best beaches in Europe) are worth particular mention on this beautiful coast. The site has 128 pitches, hardstanding & grass all with 16 amp electricity.
Although the immaculately kept site has its own treasures, you'll also find plenty to see inland. Use the site as your starting point and head over to the Vale of Neath, to Aberdulais Falls, and see how the waters have powered numerous industries over three hundred years. Then on to Craig Gwladys where you can walk the forest trails and climb the steep ascent with the hangliders soaring above you. With national cycle paths close by bike riders will find the site an ideal place to stay with the nearby Millennium path a particular favourite. Swansea is a short bus ride away with its famous indoor market, marina, National Waterfront Museum and shops and cafes. The local, motor home friendly, Swansea Park and Ride is also close by.
