Globo Barcelona is cleverly laid out in a relaxed, amphitheatre fashion. Within the various sectors, permanent campers and touring units stay alongside each other. The restaurant serves authentic food and tapas and is within a sensitively restored farmhouse. The site is located on the beach road (N11) so is subject to some traffic noise, but the full shading of mature trees also absorbs the noise. The 176 flat, grassy pitches include 135 touring pitches, all with 10A electricity and with an average size of 70 sq.m. An elevated pool and paddling pool are waiting for you to enjoy and the beach is close by. The site was previously known as Globo Rojo.

The atmosphere is verdant, calm and tranquil. The Catalan mas at the top of the site contains all the facilities including a shop and pretty terraces to the restaurant, activities and the miniclub. Reception is very efficient and keen to please, and the owners speak English. Entertainment for adults and children is provided at the restaurant in high season. Sports facilities are also close to the mas. Barcelona is just 40 minutes away by bus or train. Alternatively, relax by the smart pool which is hard against the cliff side and a real suntrap.

Directions to Globo Barcelona

Site is at the 660.9 km. marker on the N11. Leave the C-32 autoroute at exit 20 (AP7 exit 120) and follow signs to Canet de Mar. Site is well signed on both carriageways of the N11.
