Alan Rogers Review of Flower Camping le Riviera
This well organised, family run and orientated site is situated beside the River Ardèche not far from Vallon-Pont-d’Arc. There are 176 pitches in total with 114 of varying size for touring units, although access to certain pitches may prove difficult for larger units. Separated by hedges and trees, pitches have varying degrees of shade and 10A electricity connections. The site’s facilities are of a high standard and it has a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. In high season, daytime and evening activities are organised for all the family. The site maintains a sandy beach by the river with good opportunities for fishing and canoeing.
There is an emphasis on provision for families from a young age to early teens with a good entertainment programme in high season. One day a week a riverside fishing expedition is organised for young beginners. A varied programme available for adults in high season includes something for six nights of every week. The River Ardèche is a centre for canoe excursions with organisations offering canoe hire and a service to return you to your starting point after trips lasting from a few hours to a couple of days. The site is within easy reach of the tourist centre of Vallon-Pont-d’Arc. The bar and restaurant are available all year in low season from Thursday to Sunday and 7 days a week in high season.

Two modern toilet blocks provide cubicles with washbasins, showers, baby room and excellent accessible facilities. Washing machines, dryer and ironing board. Bar, restaurant with covered terrace, takeaway (1/5-10/9). Shop (July/Aug). Swimming and paddling pools and sunbathing terrace (all season, heated). Play and multisports areas. Bicycle and canoe hire (July/Aug). Fishing. Riding. River beach (July/Aug). Activities for younger guests and entertainment for adults. WiFi throughout.
