Alan Rogers Review of Camping la Plage
La Plage is a straightforward, unpretentious site with adequate facilities and ideally situated as a low cost base for visiting the many tourist destinations in the Dordogne. There are 80 touring pitches which are all quite large with shade provided by trees and all with electrical hook-ups (3-10A). The views from the site of the Château de Castelnaud and Roque-Gageac are picturesque and the pitches on the banks of the River Dordogne are especially pleasant.
Facilities at Camping la Plage
The new, modern sanitary block is kept very clean and houses hot showers, open washbasins and toilets. Accessible facilities. Laundry sinks and washing machine. Motorhome services. Small shop selling a few basics and bread. Small bar and takeaway (July/Aug). Large unheated swimming pool with hydro massage. Fishing in the river. Free WiFi.

Directions to Camping la Plage
Site is by the D703 between Beynac and Roque-Gageac. Follow D703 from Beynac past Vezac towards Gageac and site is on the left 2 km. from Vezac. The road has a sharp bend and fork, take left-hand fork do not cross the bridge to Castelnaud.
