Saint Hilaire-les-Places is a pretty village famous for its floral displays. It can be found at 28 km. South of Limoges, best known for its fine porcelain and Gothic cathedral, is an ideal base for exploring the Limousin region. The site forms part of a 31-hectare recreation area and has 107 pitches, of which 84 are reserved for tourers, all of which are of good size and have electric hook-up points available. Most are separated by hedges, allowing privacy, and mature trees give much-needed shade during summer. Other pitches are occupied by mobile homes and chalets (available to rent)

The campsite has direct access to a large lake with a water slide and a diving platform from which you can jump from various heights. The lake also offers multiple activities, such as windsurfing, kayaking, and pedal boating. Other on-site activities include mini golf, a children's playground, beach volleyball, and an indoor games room. The campsite's lakeside restaurant offers various dishes if all the day activities work up an appetite. A daily bread service can also be picked up from the campsite shop.

Two toilet blocks are clean and have open-style washbasins, preset showers and facilities for children and accessible facilities. Washing machines and dryer. Small shop in reception. Lakeside bar and snack bar (May-Sept). Play area. Minigolf. Games room. Fishing. WiFi (charged).
