This small, family run site, popular with French campers, lies in a picturesque region waiting to be discovered, with rolling hills, deep river valleys, lakes and many old fortified villages. This site is more suitable for those seeking a quieter holiday with less in the way of entertainment, although there is a range of activities available during the summer should you wish to participate. There are 112 good sized, grassy, slightly sloping pitches with 69 for touring (all with access to 10A electricity). Some are separated by laurel hedging with others more open and maturing trees provide some shade. The enthusiastic and friendly owners have recently extended the site and refurbished the facilities to a high standard.
The town of Millau with its impressive ‘bridge in the clouds’, and the UNESCO World Heritage site of Albi with its historic bridges, red brick cathedral and many restaurants/bars are a just short drive away. The Tarn and Aveyron gorges are well worth touring around. They offer spectacular rock formations and stunning rivers. The well known Roquefort cheese manufaturers are closeby with visits to the cheese cellars possible. This is an area with many hidden gems that will suit all interests. Many marked routes are available for walking and cycling.
Facilities at Flower Camping du Lac de Bonnefon
Two main toilet blocks include some washbasins in cabins and good accessible facilities. No shop but bread to order. Bar with TV (all season). Snack bar and restaurant (July/Aug) with occasional themed ‘Breton’ evenings. Swimming and paddling pools (1/5-30/9). Jacuzzi. Playground. Good lake fishing but no bathing. Activities for all the family in July/Aug. Bicycle hire. WiFi on part of site.

Site is just off the N88 halfway between Rodez and Albi. From Naucelle Gare take D997 towards Naucelle. In just over 1 km. turn left on D58 and follow signs to site in just under 1 km.
