The Müritz National Park is a very large area of lakes and marshes, popular for birdwatching as well as watersports, and Havelberge is a large, well-equipped site to use as a base for enjoying the area. It is quite steep in places with many terraces, most with shade, and views over the lake. There are 415 pitches in total with 320 good-sized, numbered touring pitches (all with 16A Europlug electrical connections) with many of the pitches on a newly developed area to the rear of the site with water and drainage. Pitches on the new field are level and separated by low hedges and bushes but have no shade. A member of Leading Campings group.

There are 320 seasonal pitches with a number of attractive chalets available to hire and mobile homes in a separate area. In the high season, this is a busy park with lots going on to entertain family members of all ages, whilst in the low seasons, this is a peaceful base for exploring an unspoilt area of nature.

Facilities at Ferienpark Havelberge

Four sanitary buildings (one new and of a very high standard) provide very good facilities, with private cabins, showers on payment and a large section for children. Accessible facilities, Fully equipped kitchen and laundry. Motorhome services. Small shop, modern restaurant, bar, takeaway and wellness (open seasonally). The lake provides fishing, swimming from a small beach and boats can be launched (over 5 hp requires a German boat licence). Rowing boats, windsurfers and bikes can be hired. Canoe centre with beginners’ courses and canoe hire. Accompanied canoe, cycle and walking tours. Play areas and entertainment for all the family in high season. Teepee village. Tree walkway (2.5 m. high with safety wires). WiFi (charged).

From A19 Rostock-Berlin road take exit 18 and follow B198 to Wesenberg and go left to Klein Quassow and follow site signs.
