Alan Rogers Review of Europacamping Nommerlayen
Situated in the lovely wooded hills of central Luxembourg, this is a top-quality site with fees to match, but it has everything! A large, central building housing most of the services and amenities opens onto a terrace around an excellent swimming pool complex with a large fun pool and an imaginative water playground. This peaceful area has many excellent walking and cycle trails, and day trips to Luxembourg, Vianden Castle and the Mosel Valley are accessible from here.
The 359 pitches (100 sq.m) are on grassy terraces with electricity (2/16A) and water taps. Pitches are grouped beside age-appropriate play areas, and the campsite facilities particularly reflect the attention given to families. Interestingly enough, the superb sanitary block is called Badtemple (having been built in the style of a Greek temple).
Entry to the sauna and hot water for washbasins, showers and sinks is by a pre-paid card. Sports facilities are varied and cater for all ages. There is organised entertainment for children and families in high season and public holidays.

A large, high-quality sanitary unit provides washbasins in cubicles, Accessible facilities, family and baby rooms and a sauna. Twelve private bathrooms for hire. Laundry. Motorhome services. Supermarket, restaurant, snack bar, bar (all usually Mar-Nov). An excellent swimming pool complex and heated pool with a sliding roof (High season). Fitness programmes. Bowling. Playground. Large screen TV. Entertainment in the high season. Bicycle hire. WiFi (free over part of the site).

Take the 118 road between Mersch and Larochette. Site is signed 3 km. north of Larochette towards the village of Nommern on the 346 road.
