Eurocamp is a traditional rural site in the Holperdorper Valley in North Rhine Westphalia, a short drive south from Osnabrück and conveniently located close to several motorways, including the A30 from the Netherlands. There are 250 pitches, of which about 60 are available for touring units. They are on terraces (some slightly sloping) but are not marked out, so you choose your spot either in the open or in the shade of fruit and walnut trees. Electricity connections (16A) are available. There are numerous opportunities for walkers and cyclists to enjoy the surrounding countryside and woodland. Nearby, Lienen has shops and restaurants.

Several other small towns, including Bad Iburg, Hagen and Georgsmanenhutte are close by and have a variety of small museums and craft outlets whilst providing further opportunities for shopping, refreshment or eating out. The historical cities of Osnabrück and Münster are an easy drive away, with cathedrals, castles and numerous churches, museums and tourist attractions.

Facilities

Central toilet block has been renovated and provides showers (€ 0.5) open-style washbasins and facilities for children. Restaurant and bar with terrace. Fishing lakes (licence required). Walking and cycling tracks from campsite. WiFi (free).
