Erholungspark Wehlingsheide is a site in Datteln, North Rhine-Westphalia, some 30 km north of Dortmund. Datteln is about 7 km away and offers the usual range of handy shops, restaurants and amenities. Set amidst rural fields and open countryside, it's a great location for those who enjoy pedalling along country lanes and hiking along the scenic trails, and there's even a sauna and beauty centre on site to help you relax afterwards.

It's a small site with neat pitches, mostly on open grass, many with some degree of shade. The 130 touring pitches, some with their own private toilet facilities, are grouped around a pond with its own small sandy beach. There are also several mobile homes and glamping pods available to rent.

Location

Leave the 235 south of Datten at a left turn. However, take the right turn towards the town and continue to a roundabout. Take the second exit onto Ahsener Str. Continue on this road to a left turn onto Klosterner Weg. Continue ahead on this road to eventually turn right onto Im Wehling. The site is on the right on this road.
