Alan Rogers Review of Domaine d’Inly
This very large site is mainly taken up with mobile homes and cottages, some belonging to the site owner, some private and some belonging to tour operators. Most of these pitches are arranged in groups of 10 to 14 around a central stone circle with a water point in the centre. The many large trees have been sensibly pruned to provide an acceptable level of shade. Of the 500 pitches, 80 are for touring units and all are large (100 sq.m) with 10A electrical connections (Europlug). Most are level and are situated by the attractive lake at the bottom of the site where one can fish or canoe. Pony rides are possible around the lake.
The heated indoor pool, the outdoor pool with its slide, and the bar and restaurant area, form two sides of an attractive courtyard. There is a variety of sporting and leisure activities on offer.
Facilities at Domaine d’Inly
Two toilet blocks include accessible facilities. Laundry. Shop. Small, comfortable bar with large screen satellite TV, attractive restaurant and takeaway (all season). Heated indoor and outdoor pool complex with slide (outdoor 15/5-20/9, indoor all season). Games room. Play areas. Football pitch (weekly games organised in July/Aug). Lake for fishing/canoeing. Pony rides. Mini farm, Bicycle hire. Sports and activities. WiFi throughout (charged).
Directions to Domaine d’Inly
On D34 from La Roche-Bernard, at roundabout just after entering Pénestin, take D201 south signed Assérac. After 100 m. turn left (site signed) opposite Carrefour supermarket. After 650 m. turn right, again signed, and campsite is 400 m. on left.
