Domaine des Grandes Côtes is in the beautiful grounds of a Château close to the very small village of Verzun du Bas and offers only static accommodation. There are only ten Roulottes (gypsy-style caravans) and five yurts, unusual Asian-style circular tents. All have lovely views over a patchwork of fields spread over rolling countryside. All accommodation is furnished to a high standard including bathrooms and kitchens. There is a small covered swimming pool, an open-air swimming pool, gym and sauna, as well as a snack bar and bar. A great place to relax at the end of the day.

This undiscovered area is steeped in history with its ancient churches and over 500 châteaux. The quiet lanes around the site lead to picturesque villages where time has apparently stood still. The village of Charroux is considered to be one of the most beautiful in France. The River Sioule offers canoeing and excellent fishing and there are many opportunities for those interested in cycling and walking. The grounds cover 45 hectares offering many opportunities to explore the lovely Bourbonnais countryside.

Leave A71 autoroute, exit 11, cross roundabout and take D46 signed Vichy. After 5 km. turn right, D42 signed Gannat. In 6 km. fork right signed Verzun and Dommaine. Follow signs to site (1.5 km).
