This site has recently undergone extensive redevelopment and no longer accepts touring caravans.
In the grounds of a manor house that has a rather faded grandeur. The setting is spectacular, the site being on the tree-clad slopes below the house from where there are glimpses of the sea in the distance. However, when we visited at the very start of their season, the site was still being prepared. Agnes and Gilles Pierre have plans to improve their site and we wish them well. There is a good beach nearby and this is an excellent area for walking and cycling enthusiasts.
Just along the coast is the fishing port of Paimpol, with boats out to the Ile de Bréhat. Further afield are La Côte de Granit Rose and Le Cap Frénel. Many small villages around have typical Breton markets and several hold special Pardons.
Facilities at Domaine de Keravel
Large but rather drably-furnished toilet block with washbasins in cubicles and controllable showers. Baby room. Accessible facilities. Laundry room. Shop, restaurant (with drinks licence), but no bar. Heated swimming pool. Tennis. Gas barbecues are not permitted. WiFi (charged).
Directions to Domaine de Keravel
Plouha is 30 km. northwest of St Brieuc and 100 km. from both Roscoff and St Malo. From N12 St Brieuc by-pass take D786 Paimpol (par la Côte). On reaching Plouha turn east at second roundabout to town centre and follow signs to campsite in 2 km.
