Desert House Caravan & Camping Park is a long-standing, family-run site located on a working dairy farm overlooking the scenic Clonakilty Bay in West Cork. Established in 1978, it’s currently run by the fourth-generation Jennings family and offers a rustic, authentic Irish farm experience just a short walk from the heart of Clonakilty.
There are 36 spacious touring pitches to choose from with electric hook up points available. Some areas are sloped, but this helps maximize the bay views. On site facilities include a campers' Kitchen which is Equipped with a gas hob, kettle, microwave, and fridge/freezer. Visitors (especially children) can often watch the daily milking operations and interact with farm life.
Within a short stroll or drive, you'll find delightful local cafés, shops, and a variety of dining options offering the best of Irish cuisine. For those eager to explore further, the stunning Cork coastline, historic sites, and outdoor activities are all within easy reach. It is also a short walk into Clonakilty, where there are shops, bars and Twomey's Butcher for Clonakilty Black Pudding. There is also an estuary at the bottom of the road, which is full of bird life, waders etc. If you are interested in bird watching.

Directions to Desert House Caravan & Camping
From Cork via N27, N40 and N71 At the roundabout near Clonakilty Court take the exit to join the L4015 Ring Road. Ignore the first road on the left shortly after leaving the roundabout. Continue to the next left turn and take it. The site is then on this road. Follow site signs.
