Dartmouth Camping & Caravanning Club site is suitably named as the attractive harbour town is just a five-minute drive away. The South Hams offers a wonderful mix of coast, moorland and rolling hills to match, from walking and cycling to sailing and surfing. At the latter, cross the River Dart to the pretty village of Kingswear and hop on board the Paignton and Dartmouth Steam Railway for a ride along the Torbay coast. While on this side of the river, Greenway is a magical place to explore. Once the holiday home of Agatha Christie, it is now managed by the National Trust. The site has 90 grass or hardstanding pitches (some seasonal), most have an electric hook-up point. There are also 4 Safari tents for hire.

Non-members are welcome and may join on-site. Please speak to site staff for details and to check pitch availability before arrival.

There are beaches aplenty - Blackpool Sands is within walking distance, Slapton Sands, Torcross, Beesands Beach and Hall Sands are a short drive away. Also nearby are Totnes, Salcombe and Kingsbridge. There are delights such as Totnes Castle and The South Devon Railway for history lovers, while a range of arts and food festivals and sailing regattas will keep culture-vultures happy.

Directions to Dartmouth Camping & Caravanning Club Site

Do not approach the site from Stoke Fleming. From Totnes take A381 towards Kingsbridge and turn left onto A3122 to Dartmouth. Now take A379 towards Stoke Fleming. The site is on the right off this road.
