Camping Le Marais Sauvage is located in Le Mazeau, Vendée, France. It is in the heart of the Marais Poitevin, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its stunning natural beauty. The campsite is surrounded by woodlands and waterways, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Take advantage of the 57 large touring pitches with electric hook-up points available. Some pitches are shaded, while others are in more direct sun.

On-site, you will find a snack bar offering various beverages and Breton specialities such as galettes and crepes. A small shop on site sells the basic necessities needed to cook at your pitch. There is also more of a selection to choose from at the village shop nearby in Le Mazeau.

There are plenty of activities and attractions to enjoy in the surrounding area, such as exploring the local waterways and canals by boat. The local area is sometimes called Venise Verte (Green Venice). There are, of course, plenty of fishing opportunities to be had in the area, too. The larger town of Niort (half an hour's drive) is worth visiting with its charming old architecture and pedestrian shopping streets, while the coastal town of La Rochelle is also worth going to, which is just under an hour's drive from the campsite.
