Alan Rogers Review of CampOne Bøjden Strand

Bøjden is located in one of the most beautiful corners of southwest Fyn (Funen in English), known as the Garden of Denmark, and may well be considered one of the most complete campsites in the country. With just a hedge separating it from the beach, it is suitable for an entire holiday, while remaining a very good centre for excursions. Arranged in rows on mainly level, grassy terraces and divided into groups by hedges and some trees, many pitches have sea views as the site slopes gently down from the road. The 295 pitches (210 for touring) all have electricity (10A) and include 65 new, fully serviced pitches (water, drainage and TV aerial point).

Four special motorhome pitches also have water and waste points. There are indoor and outdoor pools, the latter with a paddling pool and sun terrace open during suitable weather conditions. Everyone will enjoy the beach (Blue Flag) for swimming, boating and watersports. The water is too shallow for shore fishing but boat trips can be arranged.

Superb central toilet block includes washbasins in cubicles, controllable showers, family bathrooms (some with whirlpools and double showers), baby room and excellent, accessible facilities. Excellent kitchen and laundry. Additional facilities to the far end of the site. Motorhome services. Supermarket. Restaurant. Takeaway. Indoor and outdoor swimming pools with flumes and slides. Solarium. Well equipped, fenced toddler play area and separate adventure playground. TV and games rooms. Internet café and WiFi. Barbecue area. Fishing. Minigolf.
