Campingplatz Platenn is located in Sehlendorf in the heart of Schleswig-Holstein, on the edge of Holstein, Switzerland and directly on the Baltic Sea. The campsite has three modern sanitary buildings, all of which are equipped with a washing machine and dryer, two large, versatile playgrounds, a petting zoo with goats and a self-service shop.
The Sehlendorfer beach is a four-kilometres long, wide, stone-free natural sandy beach in the middle of a beautiful dune landscape, adjacent to the extensive nature reserve "Sehlendorfer Binnensee". Sehlendorfer beach is perfect for the whole family, as the water here is usually very shallow at the beginning, and the wide sandy beach offers plenty of space to play and run around.
