On the southern side of the Hunsrück, between the village of Schweppenhausen and the town of Stromberg, lies the Aumühle campsite on the banks of the river Guldenbach. This is a small friendly campsite with 50 touring pitches available. There is a small snack bar/ restaurant on site and a children's play area. This campsite is an ideal stop over point if you are exploring the local area.

Dense forests, steep vineyards, picturesque villages with half-timbered houses, many hiking opportunities, leisure activities and cultural offerings are just some of the activities you can do on your camping holiday here. An Ideal starting point for trips to the Rhine, the cities of Mainz, Bad Kreuznach, Bad Sobernheim or Idar-Oberstein.
