Camping Himmelspforte is surrounded by Hopfenberg, Eckberg and Vogler Nature Park on the beautiful WeserStrom lies the Munchausen town of Bodenwerder. The city centre only 1.5 km away and the site is directly on the Weser. Opposite the site on the left bank of the Weser stretches the Hopfenberg with its rocky outcrops. Its beautiful forest, which adapts its face to every season, forms a picturesque backdrop. To the south and east, the site is surrounded by meadows and fields. Only a few individual farms are located in the middle of this wonderfully quiet landscape.

In 15 – 20 minutes you can reach the Vogler Nature Park with its mixed forest, well-kept hiking trails, wonderful viewpoints and beautiful rest areas on asphalted paths. Everyone, whether walkers, hikers, mushroom pickers or nature lovers, will find something to their taste here. The site has 150 touring pitches with 16amp electricity hook-up point. There are a further 250 pitches occupied on a permanent basis.

From exit 35 of the A2 motorway Dortmund-Hannover. Follow B83 direction Hameln. Turn right over the bridge in Bodenwerder. Follow site signs.
